Bridgeport police investigating fatal domestic incident

BRIDGEPORT, W.Va. — Two people died Friday in a domestic incident at a Bridgeport residence.

Police officers were responding to a call of multiple shots fired when they learned a vehicle fleeing the area crashed into an Oakview Drive home.

Officers found a person dead in the car. Bridgeport Police Chief John Walker described the situation to WDTV-TV as a murder-suicide, and the people were married.

Bridgeport police did not release the names of the people involved.
