A winter storm grips the Mountain State with heavy snow this morning–that’s coming on top of heavy ice from two previous storms in parts of West Virginia where the power remains out for thousands. The weather is impacting a number of Covid vaccination clinics. At the State Capitol the Legislature is advancing measures to allow public education dollars be directed to home schools or private schools and the Covid pandemic has put a major strain on the Higher Ed Policy Commission and the Promise Scholarship program.
