CHARLESTON, W.Va. — The state Department of Health and Human Resources confirmed 479 new COVID-19 cases Friday morning. The agency said there are now 7,084 active cases.
COVID-19 hospitalizations are now at 280, the highest number since Feb. 24.
Two new deaths were reported Friday including a 62-year old male from Brooke County and a 73-year old female from Nicholas County.
The number of fully vaccinated West Virginians has increased to 433,823.
