MORGANTOWN, W.Va. — Detectives from the Monongalia County Sheriff’s Department say four people have been charged in connection with a man’s drug and alcohol death that took place the July 4 weekend.
According to deputies, Mikkel McDougal, Sarah Sherman, Denver Lamb and Isaiah Antonk loaded the body of Jessie Young, 40, of Winchester, Va., into a car after Young had died while taking drugs and drinking.
The group then allegedly drove to the car to a remote area and left Young’s body off of Dry Run Road in Monongalia County.
McDougal and Antonk have been charged with failure to render aid and concealing a human corpse. McDougal posted bond and Antonk is being held in the North Central Regional Jail.
Police are still looking for the others.
