Harrison County Prosecutor Romano named Law Enforcement Officer of the Year

CLARKSBURG, W.Va. – Harrison County Prosecutor Rachel Romano has been named the Law Enforcement Officer of the Year by the The West Virginia Association for Justice.

Romano began her work in the Harrison County prosecutor’s office in 2009, and in 2015 became the first woman to hold the position in the history of Harrison County.

The ceremony took place Friday morning in Clarksburg.

Romano began working in the Harrison County Prosecutor’s Office in 2009. She appointed county prosecutor in 2015.
