CAPON BRIDGE, W.Va. — Investigators with the state Fire Marshal’s Office are seeking the public’s health in a string of arson fires in Hampshire County.
The office said Friday there have been eight separate fires to vacant structures in recent weeks. All have been in the Capon Bridge, Augusta areas.
No injuries have been reported in connection with the set blazes.
According to the fire marshal, tips of suspicious activity can be reported to the WV Fire Marshal Hotline at 1-800-233-3473.
