PARKERSBURG SOUTH 44, Morgantown 41: After Gage Wright blocked a Mohigans’ field goal attempt in overtime, Parkersburg South got a 20-yard field goal from Miciah Jones to prevail.

“I just try to keep the mentality of keeping our kids focused on the task at hand,” said Parkersburg South head coach Nathan Tanner. “So far, our kids have done a really good job with that. I think they will continue to grow and get better. It is stressful to have a game like this but I think it is also good for your team to be in a ball game like that.”
