Joe Brocato

Joe Brocato has covered sports at various levels in West Virginia for seventeen years.  As sports director at WDTV in Bridgeport, he coordinated coverage of WVU, Division 2 and high school sports throughout North Central West Virginia.  Joe also was a sports reporter/anchor in Laredo, Texas.

Born and raised in Rhode Island, Joe is a graduate of the University of Hartford where he earned a bachelor’s degree in mass communications in December of 1999.

Joe is the afternoon sports anchor for MetroNews, providing updates in Charleston and Morgantown.

When not covering sports, you can find Joe making a mockery of the game of golf around the many scenic courses throughout the mountain state.
